Well-Designed Living
wldwst is an interior design studio and boutique located in downtown Leesburg, VA. We provide full service interior design and decorating services to homes and businesses throughout Northern Virginia and DC. Our team handles every detail of residential and commercial interior design projects including concept development, design renderings, product sourcing, and installation.
The retail store showcases our signature design style and features curated products from small brands, local makers, and found vintage goods. The shop is filled with unique home accessories, furniture, utility goods, local art and ceramics, and gifts. Visit our in-store design center to pick up a wallpaper sample and get inspired! We view our shop as our living, breathing design lab where we experiment with interior design ideas while telling the stories of all our favorite independent brands and artists.
the wld and the wst
Several years ago, we collaborated on a wide variety of creative design endeavors through our respective solo businesses (Wild Green Yonder + Colleen West Interiors). We casually started referring to ourselves as #wldwst. It stuck. As wldwst, we have crafted 3D botanical installations, created retail displays, conceptualized and executed events, designed photo sets, creative directed product and brand photo shoots, created digital content, developed custom products, designed commercial and residential interiors, and hosted our beloved series of in-studio pop-up shops that evolved into permanent retail store in downtown Leesburg, VA. Most importantly, we’ve built a community of like-minded creatives, artists, brands, and tradespeople that believe in the power of collaboration and the value of genuine relationships.

Colleen West, the “wst” half of wldwst, is an established commercial interior designer with local small business clients including restaurants, breweries, running shoe stores, yarn shops, clothing boutiques, and independent booksellers. Her creative ability is unlimited and she has designed and constructed countless store window displays, permanent and seasonal art installations, retail fixtures, furniture, and interiors. Her work was featured in print publications including Home & Design Magazine and Washingtonian Weddings.
Prior to founding Colleen West Interiors, Colleen developed her 3-D design skillset working as a visual display coordinator for Anthropologie, a brand renowned for their creative windows and product displays. It was there that she honed her ability to create from scratch, and became a master of improvisation and thinking creatively on her feet.
Colleen is an endlessly creative, multi-faceted designer with an empathetic, compassionate heart for her clients. Not only can she design it, she can also build it - and currently creates custom furniture, installation and display pieces for clients. She dreamed of forming an interior design studio and made it happen. Her next dream is to expand her design team to serve even more clients for both residential and commercial spaces.
